Tactical purchaser (3.800,00 €/Month) Energy industry (m/w/d)

We are looking for an experienced procurement professional for a renowned, international, and innovative client in the energy sector located in Düsseldorf. Starting on December 2, 2024, in a full-time position, the role involves managing tender processes (RfP/RfQ), overseeing contract management, and creating purchase orders in SAP and SAP Ariba. A strong background in procurement and proficiency in these systems are essential.

• Ensure best value-for-money procurement, maximizing business and project value.
• Overall sourcing responsibility, amongst other things for specific tender strategies, supplier invitation & selection, negotiation and implementation of supplier contracts
• Deliver efficient and effective procurement operations while ensuring compliance
• Support and challenge business colleagues across all countries to ensure best commercial outcomes in alignment with “Business Solutions Team” within the Procurement Organization
• Systems & tools accountability for all sourcing activities using SAP & SAP Ariba for tenders
• Actively manage Uniper suppliers ensuring competitive contracts and reliable supplies
• Contract & Claims management where required

• • Minimum 3 years of experience in the energy industry and/or Procurement
• Procurement background/Experience in Technical Components & Services could be a plus
• Proven track record of managing larger procurement projects and/or tenders
• Experience in using SAP Ariba and relevant platforms (i.e. eVergabe)
• Ability to convincingly manage a wide range of stakeholders, their conflicting requirements & cross-functional overlaps
• Good analytical mind-set and willingness to drive performance
• Creative and open-minded individual with a good sense of humor
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Work experience in international teams, appreciation of cultural differences and mobility/willingness to travel internationally would be plus
• Excellent communication skills in fluent English & German are required, knowledge of additional languages would be a plus
